OS Sim
A C++ simulator for OS process scheduling, memory paging, and disk I/O
OS Sim is a coursework-style C++ simulator for core operating system kernel functions.
- Process creation/fork/exit with a ready queue and timer-interrupt-driven scheduling
- Process Control Blocks (PCBs) to track process state
- Simulated memory management: paging, address translation, per-process memory usage tracking
- Simulated disk I/O: multiple disk queues, read requests, completion callbacks
Built with C++ (STL only, no external libraries), CMake or plain g++. Not an interactive program — behavior is driven by hardcoded calls in main().
