What-a-Match is a Django web app demonstrating stable matching algorithms, built as a final project for Hunter College’s Distributed Artificial Intelligence course (Dr. Anita Raja).

  • Demonstrates the Gale-Shapley (1962) Stable Marriage algorithm and Irving’s (1985) Stable Roommate algorithm
  • Uses the open-source matching Python library under the hood, wrapped in a Django UI for running/visualizing demo matches
  • Deployed via Heroku

Note: an unfinished coursework project (per its own README) — only Stable Marriage/Stable Roommate problems are supported. A planned extension (adapting matches to forced/forbidden pairs) was never implemented.
